SUMMARY:Auditions for Newsies
DESCRIPTION:McKeesport Little Theater is excited to announce auditions for our production of NEWSIES!\nAuditions will be held on July 8th from 6-9:00pm and July 9th from 12:00-3:30pm. If needed\,\ncallbacks will be held Sunday\, July 10th from 3:00-6:00pm. The show runs two weekends:\nSeptember 16-18 and 23-25. Direction by Shawn Conway and Choreography by Samantha\nMitchell. \nThose who audition are asked to bring a theater resume with full contact info\, headshot\, and a\n32-bar cut of a musical theater song with copy of accompaniment. Everyone who comes in will\nbe asked to sing their musical selection and then will be asked to do a short cold read chosen by\nthe director. Selections from the show are allowed and encouraged for those going for a specific\npart. Anyone auditioning to be considered for any of the lead roles\, Newsies roles\, or one of the\nBowery Beauties will be asked to do a short dance routine that will be taught to you the day you\naudition. \nCasting decisions will be made by phone and e-mail\, and anyone not cast WILL be notified via\ne-mail. \nList of Characters: \n(Please note that all roles are available and character parameters are subject to change based on\nwho auditions and the director’s discretion.
